It's a great relief to have finished pretty much everything now, and I have already uploaded the footage onto the Macs. It took a while to figure out how to do it, due to not being particularly experienced with the operating system and not fully understanding iMovie yet!
I've uploaded the footage directly to iMovie and have started to edit. I have also been on YouTube watching tutorials and videos about tips and tricks (the official tutorials from Apple sadly do not work!) on how to get the most out of the software and am now beginning to understand how it works better. iMovie '09 is a vast improvement from the software I used on my Foundation Portfolio - I used Pinnacle for PC which kept crashing and the transitions and titles were really cheesey.
After doing the rough cut on iMovie, I will be transferring it across to Final Cut Express to tidy it up and add the final touches! I've already had a play around on this piece of software and can use it to do simple editing.
